hello everyone.this is my question:
The only acknowledgment of acceptance of your application will be the issuance of one PEBC Identification/Card of Admission for the examination, which will be mailed approximately 2 to 3 weeks before the examination date.
does it mean i have to study without knowing for sure that i will take july exam?

Yes I am afraid it does. If

Yes I am afraid it does. If you enclosed a 'Form 100-E' with your application they will send that back to you to acknowledge receipt of your application but that will be all you get until you receive your actual PEBC Identification/Card of Admission. That is unless your application is filled out incorrectly in which case they should contact you. However, if they are waiting for to receive complete documents they will just hold your documents until everything is received.

The PEBC states the

The PEBC states the following about calling them about receiving documents or applications for the document evaluation process or any of the PEBC exams:
Please do NOT contact the PEBC office by telephone, fax or email to confirm receipt of your application or to check your examination location assignment. If you wish to know whether PEBC has received your application, you must do one of the following:

• send it by a courier service or by Canada Post (Security Registered), and request an Acknowledgement of Receipt
• send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (within Canada) or a self-addressed envelope with International Reply coupons (outside of Canada) and the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Application Form #100.. and the form will be returned to you by mail. If the form is received without appropriate return envelope and postage, it will not be acknowledged.

Application receipt acknowledgement will NOT be provided by phone, fax or email.

Note that the office's return of your Acknowledgement Form #100-Q does NOT ensure that your application is accepted; it simply indicates that PEBC has received your examination application.
So I think it best that you do not contact the PEBC unless you have a general enquiry about the application process. The best way to find out if the PEBC received your application is to enclose a self addressed envelope with the required postage and an acknowledgement slip acknowledgement and/ or to use a postal/courier service that allows you to track your documentation.

If several months go by or it gets to about 3 weeks before an exam and you do not receive a receipt slip (only if you included it with your application) you could maybe consider calling the PEBC for guidance, but only if you really think your documentation has been lost! The PEBC will generally not discuss specific details about applications over the phone.

The real key to avoiding these problems is to:

1) Send you documentation as far ahead of the applicable deadline as possible.

2) Check your documents before yous end them, check them again and then have someone else check them. Use the checklist provided with the application forms.

3) If you require University Transcripts or documents that need to be sent directly from other institutions to the PEBC, contact those institutions as soon as possible. If these documents arrive before your application the PEBC will hold them but if they do not arrive by the deadline then your application will held and to be applied to another sitting of the exam. If you have concerns about these documents having been sent, contact the institution sending the documents before you contact rather than the PEBC.

4) If your documents are not originally written in either English OR French make sure to have all documents translated.

5) Make sure to enclose an acknowledgement slip with a self-addressed envelope and the correct postage to have the envelope mailed back to you. If possible track use your courier/postal service to track your package.

Good luck and be patient (I know it's hard) 8)
Mat
