Licensing Requirements
Licensing Requirements
Which province are you looking to get licensed in Ranash?
In British Columbia
Hi Mat,
can you also verify if its possible for me to give the jurisprudence exam this June, that is before my Qualifying exam result is out.
Thank you
Hi Ranash,
It's not the case in every province, but once you have passed your PEBC Evaluating Exam and you register as an applicant with the BC College of Pharmacists, you can take the BC jurisprudence exam (before you pass the PEBC MCQ and OSCE). Take a look at the following information provided by the College of Pharmacists of BC:
GUIDE TO BECOMING A PHARMACIST IN BRITISH COLUMBIA.
As far as I can see the only language proficiency tests that are accepted are IELTS, TOEFL, MELAB and CanTEST
Mat ;)
Hi Mat,
Thank youfor the reply. I wish I had known earlier and had given the TOEFL earlier, then this hours that I am working at a pharmacy would have been counted towards my internship; for I only need fluency and college association to start with the internship
:?
Hi Ranash,
Yes that's true, but don't worry too much. The time you have spent in a pharmacy to date will help you greatly with your fluency exams, PEBC Exams and jurisprudence. While these hours won't count toward your internship I believe it will have been time well spent.
Good Luck,
Mat.

Hi,
I have cleared my EE and will write the OSCE and MCQ this spring, I gave the CLB (Canadian Language Benchmarks) in June,2008. I plan to write the jurisdiction exam this June. Do I have to give an official English exam like IELTS or TOEFL and are there any more requirements before I get licensed?
