Tweaking the Site

Some of you may have noticed that I have changed the layout and content of the front page of the PICA website. This has been done to try and make it a little easier to see what is available on the site and to encourage you to use the forums.
I have noticed many users using the Shoutbox on the left hand side of the site. While this is great for a quick chat, it is not so good for asking questions in a way that other users can benefit from it in the future. Most questions that users ask have already been answered in the forums or covered in a blog post on the site. If your question has not been answered then take a look in the forums or even faster type your question or words relating to your question in the search box in the top right hand corner of the site.
To try and preserve useful content I am proposing the removal of the Shoutbox from the site. In its place I propose we use the forums and for those that are looking for some real time chat we can use the Twitter social network. You will notice on the left hand side of the site there is now a box entitled Tweets. This shows information that has been posted to Twitter via Pharmacyintern, as more people use this you will be able to connect with fellow site users through Twitter and have almost real time conversation.
To help me decide if this is the right move for site users I have created two polls below. Let me know if you currently use  Twitter and if not if you would be willing to use it in place of the Shoutbox.

Do you have a Twitter account?
Would you use Twitter instead of the Shoutbox?
